Remark | Phenotype comment -- Confirmed with independent dsRNA (F35G12.9-RNA2; similar -albeit seemingly weaker- phenotype).
DIC phenotype -- Eggshell appears fragile in all embryos as witnessed by random yolk granule movements movements and absence of space between embryo proper and eggshell; in some embryos (e.g. movie1), there are no signs of progress into the first cell cycle; in other embryos (e.g. movie2) early events ensue, but there is a striking delay during mitosis (over 10 min between breakdown of the pronuclear envelopes and cleavage furrow ingression, compared to the usual approximately 2 min in wild-type)
