Description of "C50H2.2"  The egl-47 gene encodes a G protein-coupled receptor required for proper function, but not morphology or structure, of the hermaphrodite-specific motor neurons (HSNs) that control egg laying; EGL-47 is expressed in the HSNs and appears to localize at synapses made in the egg-laying system; EGL-47 may interact with GOA-1, a G protein that blocks egg laying.
